Picturing Queerness in the Americas
Picturing Queerness in the Americas is a SoFLaFoto project, begun in 2022, on how photographers in Latin America, the United States and the diasporas between them have pictured queer and LGBTQ+ lives: as portrait and document, as resistance, and as a record of communities that official archives have left out. It brings together online exhibitions, critical writing and a reference collection of photobooks.
